Quality and Strategy

Quality and Strategy is a function under the Quality and Risk Management (QRiM) and Strategy Management Office (SMO) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. This function was established to facilitate, implement and monitor efforts by both QRiM and SMO. These efforts are bridged through the Assistant Dean, who heads Quality and Strategy function at the School. This function is generally responsible for managing and monitoring the affairs of strategy and quality at the School in line with the vision, mission and objectives of the University.

QUALITY

Coordinate quality activities at the School and ensure standards and compliance with academic quality, research and services, ensure updating of data and documentation relating to quality and governance and ensure compliance with risk management policies.

STRATEGY

Developing faculty strategic plans according to university strategic plans, launching initiatives and targets, and monitoring implementation and achievement.

ACCREDITATION

Implementing and coordinating accreditation process in accordance with established accreditation body standards, policies, and procedures and ensures compliance with accreditation standards.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES

The School is currently in the midst of obtaining Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation. This accreditation which is aimed at connecting educators, students, and business will enable the School to create the next generation of leaders who are ready to face changing dynamics.
