AHIBS Action Research Challenge (AARC)

AARC 2026 is a flagship action-driven platform under AHIBS-ACT 2026, bringing together 70 MBA conventional and ODL students (MBSA2934 & MBSA2923) to showcase their Action Research project as the culmination of their Master’s journey.

AARC 2026 is more than a presentation platform—it is where research transforms into action, empowering future leaders to deliver impactful solutions for organisations and a sustainable digital future.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Showcases action research projects across diverse fields including strategic management, human resources, finance, accounting, economics, information systems, marketing, and entrepreneurship
  • Emphasises real-world impact through practical, solution-oriented research
  • Evaluated by a distinguished panel of supervisors, academicians, and industry practitioners
  • 100% assessment component for the Action Research 2 (AR2) course using a multidimensional evaluation approach to ensure quality, relevance and fairness.

AARC OBJECTIVES

  1. To enhance practical experiences and research findings through collaboration among students, academics, and UTM industry partners
  2. To strengthen diversity in research collaboration between UTM and industry partners
  3. To increase publication outputs among academics, students, and industry collaborators, where applicable
