Our heartiest congratulations to Professor Rose Alinda Alias for her appointment as UTM Senate member. She will be representing AHIBS’ voices and agenda in the Senate.
She is a Professor of Information Systems Management, Head of the Information and Service Systems Innovation (ISSI) Research Group and Senior IT Associate Fellow at UTM Center for Information and Communications Technology (CICT). She has held various administrative posts for 20 years, the latest were UTM DVCAI Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic & International (2012-2016) and Dean of UTM Graduate School (2007-2011). She was Council Member of Malaysian Qualifications Agency (2016) and Member of Malaysian Examination Council STPM Standards Fixing Committee. She is also founding President of Malaysia Chapter for Association for Information System (AIS). She holds various qualifications in IS: PhD, MBA, MSc CIS, Bachelor CS.
