
About the Educator
Dr. Azam has over 16 years of experience in treasury, investment banking, and capital markets. He is a senior lecturer and programme leader at Asia Pacific University, holding degrees in Economics, an MBA in Islamic Banking and Finance, and a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy. His research focuses on economic sociology, poverty, and social stratification, and he is an active member of the International Society for Third Sector Research. Overview of the Program:
The Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, successfully conducted a two-day training program with students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, on 13–14 November 2024.
The training focused on the emerging areas of Financial Technology (FinTech) and Green Finance, equipping participants with insights into innovative financial solutions and sustainable investment practices.
The sessions were led by Dr. Nur Azam Anuarul Perai, who provided an in-depth exploration of current trends, practical applications, and future opportunities within the FinTech and green finance ecosystems.
Through interactive discussions and experiential learning, the program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of digital transformation in finance and the importance of sustainability in today’s global economy.
