The Site Visit by YB Dato ‘Dr Adham Baba to Kelulut Honey Nursery was held successfully today. The high-impact project, funded by the MOSTI grant, will provide holistic returns to project stakeholders, especially entrepreneurs among the B40. The project uses modular technology, an invention by UTM researchers, to harness bee farm and honey production.
Kelulut Honey Project Head, Dr. Mohd Khairuddin, said a total of 100 B40 entrepreneurs will be involved in the production and marketing of the product. The Kelulut Honey project has close cooperation with the Simpang Renggam District Council and Angkasa Malaysia.
This quadraple helix initiative that connects academia, industry, the community, and NGOs sparks many opportunities for research, education, and community development.
