More on AHIBS CSR project..

“Karnival Kampungku Sihat 2018” with their theme “Berbakti, Beramal, Berkongsi” was successfully organized on the 24th November 2018 (Saturday) from 8am to 3pm. This carnival was organized by MBA students (Melaka group) of AHIBS, UTM Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with 17 organizations including Japerun DUN Ayer Limau, Melaka State Health Department, Melaka Manipal Medical College, Malaysian Medical Association, Straits Pharmacy Sdn Bhd, Belia 4B, KOSPEN and many others.

The event hit a total of 960 villagers from Lubok China, Melaka. The organizers conducted circumcision (Majlis Berkhatan) for the needy family for free. Among other interesting activities were health talk and various exhibitions by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and CUCMS, comprehensive health screenings, coloring contest for the kids, healthy menu cooking contest, towel composition contest, and folk sports contest for the villagers. The organizer made the event even more happening by giving away more than 70 lucky draw prizes. “Karnival Kampungku Sihat 2018” was launched by YB Datuk Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen, EXCO of Industry, Trade and Investment on behalf of the Chief Minister of Melaka. Overall it was a fruitful event and hopefully the people of Lubok China benefited from this CSR program.

We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations and appreciation to our MBA students from the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Melaka (JKNM) and lecturer, Assoc. Prof Dr Rohaida Basiruddin for their great effort and commitment to ensure this program is a success!
