Ernst and Young interactive workshop session on Graduate Employability skills were held on Friday 23 November at AHIBS Convention Hall, UTM, Skudai. Third and Fourth year Bachelor Degree of Accounting students gained first-hand information and experiences directly from one of the Big-Four firms, represented by Ms Felicia Lam (Human Resource Manager), Ms Ching Jun Hwa (Advisory Manager), Mr Lee Jeng Nam (Audit Manager), Mr Ihsan Sobri Safian (Tax Senior Manager) and Ms Agnes Jiu (Audit Manager). Mr Lee Jeng Nam (ACCA Qualified) is a graduate of the first batch Bachelor of Accounting Degree from UTM. The team shared their experience on how to prepare a good CV from recruiters’ perspectives, how to prepare for an interview and what to do during the interview. They also shared their experiences transitioning from student to working adult and how they are able to manage their time between work, personal life and pursuing professional examination.
