Six 3rd year Bachelor of Accounting students from AHIBS had participated in the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW) Business Challenge annual competition. The team was accompanied by their advisors, Dr. Noriza Mohd Jamal and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maisarah Mohamed Saat. Held at Sofitel Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the competition welcomed 21 teams from private and public universities around Malaysia.
The teams were first split into three rooms in the first round, and winners from each room competed in the second round. The UTM team represented by Bernard Ng Binhang, Tan Wei Kang, Sarawana Rau, Dharventh Chandira Segaran, Ferdauz Daud and Nur Fatina, won the most collaborative team award with a cash prize of RM600. Congratulations to the team!
