Assoc. Prof. Dr Teo Poh Chuin
Dr. Teo Poh Chuin is an Associate Professor at the Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where she has been teaching since 2019. She holds a PhD in International Marketing and brings extensive academic expertise and experience in postgraduate and executive education. She teaches across MBA programmes in both conventional and ODL formats and DBA programmes in conventional format, and previously taught at the bachelor level while serving at TAR UMT. Her research interests include digital consumer behaviour, consumer–brand relationships, cross-cultural marketing, international business, and sustainable consumption behaviour. Actively involved in consultation projects, research grants, and scholarly dissemination, she has published in international journals, books, and conference proceedings, and presented at major international conferences. She also serves in editorial roles for international journals, participates on technical committees for academic conferences, and provides advisory expertise in consultancy projects. Recognised for her expertise, she was honoured through the ASEAN–ROK Academic Exchange Programme and the STI 100³ Programme, and has received multiple awards at international, national, university, and school levels for her contributions to academia and research. Dr. Teo is a member of the Young Scientists Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) and the Institute of Marketing Malaysia.
