Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zarina bt Abdul Salam
Associate Professor Dr. Zarina Abdul Salam is a distinguished lecturer at UTM and she is also a Chartered Accountant with prior professional experience at Bank Negara Malaysia. Her research expertise lies in financial reporting, corporate governance, and auditing. Dr. Zarina has secured in numerous competitive research grants. Her scholarly work includes numerous publications in high-ranking indexed journals. She has received multiple awards for both her research and innovative teaching. As a dedicated mentor, she has supervised many PhD and Master’s students to completion. Dr. Zarina also holds key leadership roles, including Research Manager at her business school. Her integrated achievements in research, teaching, and service make her a leading figure in her field.
