Introduction
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Group aims to promote research and dissemination of research results on innovation and entrepreneurship which are the two key drivers of firms’ and national economies’ competitiveness. The scope of research on these can be wide ranging. IERG focuses specifically on the key areas listed below:
Innovation and Technology Management
Deals with issues related to planning, implementing. monitoring/controlling innovative activities and technological capabilities towards achieving organisational objectives.
Entrepreneurship
Issues related to starting-up new business and managing business ventures by balancing opportunity exploitations and risk management.
Innovation Studies
Studies on how best to influence innovation and how best to exploit it to the full (at organisational or national/regional/international level).
Small Business Management
Study on issues related to running of small businesses.
Policy Research on Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Deals with issues related to formulating and assessing national, regional and international policies on Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
